Mark IV Bow Tie Block (Tall Deck)
P/N 1404480814044808 and 12370834 are both discontinued and are no longer available. This page will remain here for information purposes only. This “tall” version of the heavy-duty Mark IV Bow Tie block is recommended for maximum-effort racing engines with long-stroke crankshafts. Like the short-deck Bow Tie block P/N 10051106, this tall block has siamesed cylinder walls and reinforced decks with blind head bolt holes. It is equipped with four-bolt main bearing caps. Technical Notes: This block has semi-finished 4.250” diameter cylinder bores. The distance from the crankshaft centerline to the deck surfaces is 10.20”. It has provisions for a mechanical fuel pump. Casting P/N 14044807. Can be bored to 4.500”. |
