Hey everyone! I’m in the market for a 2017 Chevrolet Silverado and I’m particularly drawn to the graphite metallic color. I love how it looks, but I’m curious about what others think of it.
Here are a few things I’d like to know:
How does the color hold up over time?
Does it fade? Does it show dirt easily?
Any feedback on the overall ownership experience?
I’m looking for opinions on the driving comfort, reliability, and any common issues you might have encountered.
Comparison with other colors:
For those who have seen the graphite metallic alongside other colors, how does it compare? Is it popular, or do you think other colors are more desirable?
Customization options:
What kind of accessories or detailing have you done on your graphite metallic Silverado? I’d love to see some pictures!
I’m also considering options for purchase or leasing and would appreciate any dealer recommendations if you have had good experiences. Let’s get a conversation going!
I’ve had my 2017 Silverado in Graphite Metallic for about 3 years now, and I can say the paint has held up remarkably well! It resists scratches and doesn’t show dirt easily.
I’ve had a few scratches from branches, but buffing them out with a good compound worked wonders! No fading yet, but I park it in the garage most of the time.
I think the Graphite Metallic is pretty durable overall. Just keep it waxed and you’ll be fine! Also, try to avoid automatic car washes as they can cause swirl marks.
Honestly, I think all the colors have their quirks, but the Graphite definitely feels more resilient. After all the compliments, I’d say it’s worth it!
That’s true! But doesn’t it get frustrating when people ask if you’ve washed it just because it’s a darker color? I feel like it should be more forgiving!
That’s the beauty of Graphite! All in all, regular maintenance like wax and careful washing works wonders for protecting the paint. You’ll love how well it lasts!
I’ve had my 2017 Silverado in Graphite Metallic for a while now, and I absolutely love the color. It gives the truck a sleek and sophisticated look compared to some of the brighter colors available.
In my opinion, the Graphite Metallic finish has a nice balance. It’s not as common as black or gray but still has that premium feel. How do you guys think it holds up against colors like Deep Ocean Blue?
