They checked the transmission fluid and added more because it was low. Simple, but it did the trick!
Every time I hear ‘low fluid’, I feel like the mechanic is just saying that to get money. How do I know if it’s true?

You can check it yourself with the dipstick! Make sure the engine is warm and the car is on level ground.
