Anyone else having issues with Chevy Equinox sunroofs?

Honestly, sunroof problems have been a headache for me. I’ve been through two motors in 3 years! Has anyone else had to change the motors often? Seems like a design flaw to me!

That’s wild! I thought my one motor issue was bad. But you’re making me reconsider keeping my Equinox!

Haha, I just close my sunroof and act like it doesn’t exist anymore! Best fix ever for my Equinox. It’s all in the denial!

I love that! Maybe I should start just ignoring mine. But then I’d miss the occasional breeze!

I think it’s important to ventilate these machines, but I do feel like the sunroof issues are reflective of broader problems with car design these days. Has anyone looked into fixing their entire roof?

Absolutely! My sunroof started leaking after just two years. I can’t help but think about how this might affect resale value down the line.

I totally understand the concern. Sunroof issues can become a costly maintenance headache. Regular upkeep is essential to prevent bigger problems.

Honestly, a vehicle without a functioning sunroof can be a dealbreaker for some buyers. It’s something to keep in mind if you plan to sell later.

My neighbor had a similar issue with his Equinox. He mentioned that it affected his decisions in terms of upgrades or resale.

That said, I think many buyers wouldn’t even check the sunroof, particularly if the exterior looks good otherwise.

That’s true, but a malfunctioning sunroof can diminish the overall appeal of the vehicle. Plus, repairs can be quite expensive!

I wonder if the sunroof’s lifespan is related to how often it gets used. Mine has always been a bit temperamental, especially during seasonal changes.

I think the sunroof design could be more durable. I mean, who wants to deal with leaks? And they’re not even that great for ventilation in the first place!

Haha, very true! It’s like the sunroof is the high-maintenance friend of cars.

I’ve been contemplating whether I should attempt to repair mine myself or just take it in to a professional. They can really charge a lot!

I think it’s worth consulting a professional, especially if you want the sunroof to last. Sometimes DIY leads to bigger issues!
