That’s interesting! How’s the off-road capability now? Any significant difference?
Off-road? It’s a game changer! It glides over obstacles much better now with the leveling kit.
I love the look of my leveled truck! But I noticed my fuel economy dropped slightly.
I got mine aligned right after installation. No complaint so far, but keep an eye on it!
Does it affect the alignment much? I heard that leveling kits can create some issues there.
That’s unfortunate! Did you see any other trade-offs besides fuel economy?
Mainly just a firm ride. But honestly, I like how it handles corners better now.
I’ve got mixed feelings. The stance is awesome but the softness I enjoyed is gone.
Sometimes you have to sacrifice comfort for style! Still, would you recommend it?
Absolutely! Just be prepared for a little stiffness and keep ‘that rear end’ in check!
Stiffness? Should I be worried? Sounds like a trade-off for those cute pics of us flexing on trails!
Haha, you’ll be fine! Just don’t try to do ballet off-road! Your truck will thank you!
I’m thinking about installing a leveling kit on my Chevy! I’d love to see some before and after shots to help visualize the difference.
I did a leveling kit last summer, and the difference was huge! I’ll post my pics after this.
Installation was pretty straightforward for me, but the front struts took a little finesse. Anyone else have tips for the strut assembly?
Using a spring compressor made it much easier for me! Just be safe with it.
I’ve encountered some challenges with alignment after installation. What do you guys recommend for DIY alignment?
I’ve got some before and after pics! Just took a look at them and the difference is staggering! I’ll post them later.
A lot of people use the string method or even a level. It can work pretty well if you’re careful.
I had no idea leveling kits could do this much! Can’t wait to see the pics, @scottandrew!
