Has anyone experienced shifting issues after installing the Gear Vendors overdrive on their TH400? I’m having trouble getting smooth shifts, especially under load.

Make sure your fittings are tight and use a good sealant. That helped me a lot when I had a similar issue.

That can happen. It might be a tuning issue. Double-check your governor pressure as it can affect how the overdrive engages.
