Custom tuning is definitely worth it! It can maximize the potential of all these mods. I’d recommend SCT for TBI tuning; they’re pretty reputable.
Can’t believe I’m going to ask this, but what’s the best way to convince my buddy to ditch his TBI and go all out with a carb setup? He just doesn’t see the performance issues!

Reflecting on my own Vortec swap, I didn’t realize exhaust would be such a bottleneck. Lesson learned: the flow is everything when it comes to headers!

My biggest issue was getting the alignment right on the intake manifold. It was a pain but worth it in the end!
