From my experience, watching the shock valving is crucial. The right valving makes all the difference in handling a lifted truck.
Exactly, smithpeter! Valving can really fine-tune how the shocks respond under various conditions. It’s all about the setup.
I know it might not help directly, but I added helper airbags to my setup and it leveled out the ride quite nicely!

You might want to check out Skyjacker. They’re reasonably priced and still offer decent performance.

I’m looking for the best shocks for my 6-inch lifted Silverado too! I’ve heard great things about Fox 2.0 shocks. Anyone tried those?
I’ve used the Fox 2.0s. They provide excellent ride quality on and off-road. Really improved handling compared to stock shocks!
After my 6-inch lift, I went with Bilstein 5100s. They’ve held up well with no sagging. I highly recommend them!

I’ve tried Rancho RS5000s. They’re decent but didn’t provide the smoothest ride for my lifted truck. Just my experience though!
Bilstein 5100s seem to be a common favorite. I’m tempted to give them a shot myself!
I went with the Skyjacker M95s. Pretty solid performance so far. They really handle the bumps well!

Did you adjust them to your ride height? I’ve heard that can make a big difference.
