I’ve seen discussions about injector problems, but I haven’t experienced any yet. Maybe it’s not as widespread as it seems?

I jokingly call mine the Duramax “3.0 Trouble Max,” but it’s really been good to me! Just be diligent about the maintenance.

I believe preventative maintenance cannot be stressed enough. My friend ignored routine checks and had major breakdowns. Keep an eye on everything, folks!

I bought a 2021 truck with the 3.0 Duramax, and it has been outstanding so far. I’ve had no issues with it. I routinely tow heavy loads without any problems, so I’d say it’s pretty reliable.

I’ve had my 3.0 Duramax since 2020 and it’s been very reliable. Regular oil changes and maintenance are key to its longevity.

I’ve averaged about 25 MPG on the highway, which I think is pretty impressive for a diesel. No major repairs yet, just the usual wear and tear.

I had a 3.0 Duramax in my 2020 model, and it was a beast until I hit 60,000 miles, then I had transmission issues. Just my luck, I guess!

That’s unfortunate, guzmandouglas. My friend had a similar issue with another brand. Do you think it was just a lemon, or do you see it as a bigger problem?

To be honest, I’m still trying to figure that out. It might just be a unique case, but it does make me a bit apprehensive about the engine’s overall reliability.

I’ll be the odd one out and say I’ve had my share of troubles with it. It had to go into the shop for a recall and other minor issues. Still love the power though!

For sure! There’s no perfect vehicle, but overall I’m happy with it. Just a little more character in the shop!

I really love the torque metrics; it pulls my trailer with ease! Well worth it for that power.

Well, I went to a drive-thru and misjudged my clearance… let’s just say I learned to check my height before entering!
