Looking for Feedback on the Chevy Tahoe in Silver Sage Metallic!

I think unique colors like Silver Sage can be risky. They might be harder to sell than the usual whites or blacks, though they can attract some buyers.

I disagree, @mary28. I think distinctive colors appeal to certain buyers who want something different! Silver Sage might actually enhance appeal for the right buyer.

I love that Silver Sage stands out! It feels refreshing compared to the standard colors. However, I guess the market will ultimately decide its fate in resale.

Exactly! My brother traded his Tahoe in Silver Sage and got a great value because it was in great condition and the color was unique!

Does it also depend on the model year? Perhaps earlier Tahoe models in Silver Sage didn’t hold their value as well due to different color trends.

I think models from the past few years have begun to value unique colors more. Silver Sage may do well if the Tahoe remains popular!

I bought a Tahoe in Silver Sage primarily for the color! If I keep it in excellent condition, I believe it’ll maintain good resale value despite the color.

As long as it’s well-maintained, I think the right buyer will appreciate that Silver Sage Metallic! Does anyone have any resale stories about this specific color?

Oh, don’t worry! If someone tries to give you lowball offers for your Silver Sage Tahoe, just tell them it’s a limited edition color! That’ll get them thinking!

I really love the Silver Sage Metallic paint job! It’s held up well over a year now. No noticeable fading or scratches even after a few off-road adventures.

That sounds promising! Have you done any maintenance to the paint? I’m curious how often you wax or wash it.

I’ve had my Tahoe in this color for about two years, and I’m amazed at how easy it is to clean. It doesn’t show dirt as much as darker colors do.

That’s good to hear! What about scratches? Anyone had issues with that?

I’ve had a couple of minor scratches from branches, but they buffed out easily. Overall, I think the paint is quite durable.

My previous car was a darker color, and I remember how tedious it was to keep it clean. I’m using a ceramic coat on my Tahoe to protect the Silver Sage finish.

How do you find the ceramic coating holds up? I’m interested in knowing if it makes a big difference for color longevity.

Absolutely! The coating seems to repel dirt and water better, making it easier to clean, plus it should help keep the color looking fresh for longer.

I wonder if others have had issues with the color fading? Living in a hot climate makes me cautious about paint durability.

So far, I’ve not experienced any fading, even parked in the sun every day. I’m in a fairly sunny area too.

That’s great to hear! I just got my Tahoe, and I’ve been considering options for maintenance. Any tips?
