I had the same issue with my 2001 Silverado! It turned out to be a faulty switch on the transmission. Replacing that fixed the problem. Good luck!

My tow/haul mode would get stuck too, but it was just a loose connection on the harness. Simple fix! I just tightened it and it worked like a charm.

Yes, I had to remove a couple of panels, but it wasn’t too bad. You know what they say, ‘What doesn’t kill you makes you stronger’ – or at least better at fixing trucks!
