I love how DIY often leads to more questions than answers! Have you checked the brake pedal position? Sometimes that can interfere with shifting into park.

I’ve been there! Once I had a similar issue, and I tried everything from lubricating the shifter to banging the dashboard (which surprisingly worked for a while)! You just never know, right?

If you have a multimeter, testing the shifter position sensor can also be a good idea. Just make sure your battery is disconnected for safety before checking!
