V8 Swap into S10 - Tips for a Clean Engine Bay

I moved my alternator to the top driver’s side. It cleared up a lot of space and looks cleaner.

If you’re struggling with heat, consider ceramic coating on the headers. It keeps the under-hood temperatures down considerably.

That’s a solid idea! I also added heat wrap where I could. It’s definitely worth it for the engine bay temperature.

I once saw someone use an electric water pump for their V8 S10. Anyone tried that? I hear it can help with cooling a lot.

I used one in my build. It freed up some horsepower and improved cooling. Definitely a worthwhile investment.

For sure! The S10’s engine bay is tight. Just take it one step at a time and you’ll get it sorted out.
