Anyone realize how much fuel efficiency varies between engine types? I’ve heard V8s go through gas quicker than V6s.
Good point! My buddy has a V8 and he spends a lot on gas. A V6 might be the better choice, especially if you drive a lot.
It’s hard to pick just one year. Isn’t every Silverado a winner? A good mechanic can make any year work well! Just saying.

Haha, true! But some years clearly have fewer complaints than others! What about warranties and their impact on value?
The 2019 model has a great warranty. Not to mention the improvements in technology. I think it could be a long-term winner!
Warranties are ideal, but I still think paying attention to maintenance can’t be overstated. That makes a world of difference in ownership costs!

I’ve enjoyed my 2014 Silverado, and while it may not have all the bells and whistles, it’s been dependable. I love the simplicity!
