I have to say, the cold air intake made a huge difference for me! It really improves throttle response and adds some nice horsepower. Highly recommend it.

Absolutely! I also added a cat-back exhaust system, and the sound it produces is incredible! It feels like a completely different car now.

Exhaust mods are definitely a game changer! I went with a Borla system. The sound is deep and aggressive, just how I like it!

Nice choice! I’ve heard great things about Borla. Have you noticed any power gains?

For sure! With my exhaust and tune, I’m getting around 30 more horsepower at the wheels! It’s an impressive upgrade for the 5th gen.

That’s awesome, Joseph! I’m considering a tune myself. What do you recommend?

I’d suggest looking into DiabloSport or HP Tuners. They really give you a lot of control over your car’s performance.

Tuning is essential! I went with HP Tuners after my intake and exhaust setup, and the results were phenomenal. The drivability is so much better.

What about headers? I’ve been hesitating to add them because of the potential for tuning issues.

I added long tube headers and didn’t have any issues with tuning. You just need to make sure it’s done right!

Long tubes are great but they can increase emissions, which might not sit well with some owners. It’s a mixed bag, honestly.

Definitely something to consider, Neal. It’s all about balancing performance and legality. Maybe a shorty header would be a better fit?

That’s great to hear! I’ve found that adding a tune after the air intake mod makes a significant difference in power. Any recommendations on tuners?

Suspension mods like lowering springs can really help with handling! Just be sure to watch for uneven tire wear if you go low.

Absolutely! I’ve been considering some sway bars too. Anyone have feedback on that?

Check your electrical connections if you’re encountering issues. I had a weird glitch that turned out to be a loose wire. It’s a good place to start!

Thanks for that tip! I’ve also heard that the BCM (Body Control Module) can be a source of problems. Anyone else experienced that?

I’ve had some trouble with engine reliability myself, especially after high mileage. Regular oil changes seem to help a lot though, just keep an eye on that.
