I’m with you on that. I didn’t notice much drone at all with the Magnaflow, even on long drives.
Thank you for that insight! I’m leaning towards Magnaflow more now, especially with all the positive feedback!
That sounds awesome! I’m really interested in that audio clip. How loud is it at highway speed? I’ve heard mixed reviews on sound levels during long drives.
I’ve had the Magnaflow 22 inch muffler on my 2012 Chevy Silverado for about a month now. The sound is deep and aggressive, definitely a nice upgrade from stock. I can provide a before-and-after audio clip if anyone wants to hear it!
I installed it on my 2015 Chevy Tahoe and love it! It’s got a nice rumble but isn’t overwhelming. It sounds just right for my taste. It fits perfectly without any modifications!
That’s great to hear! I’ve been considering it for my Tahoe too. Did you notice a difference in performance or fuel efficiency?
The Magnaflow definitely enhances performance! I feel like my Tahoe has a bit more power now. Just be aware, if you enjoy quiet drives, it might not be for you—especially under hard acceleration.
Good point! I’m more of a quiet cruise person. Is it bearable for daily driving or only fun for weekend drives?
I drive mine daily, and honestly, I enjoy the sound—it’s a good balance. Just keep the windows up if you want peace during your commute! Would recommend it for anyone with the same driving style.
Interesting! I was worried about drone at certain RPMs. Have you encountered any drone that makes highway driving uncomfortable?
There’s a little drone, but nothing extreme. I’ve had louder setups before. Sounds like it’s perfect for someone looking for a balance. Do you have any sound clips from your rides?
