I’m currently working on restoring my 1964 Chevrolet Impala and I’ve run into some issues with the electrical system. I’m trying to figure out the wiring, but I’m really struggling without a detailed diagram. Can anyone share where I can find a good wiring diagram for the 64 Impala?

What I’m Looking For:

  • A clear wiring diagram that shows all connections
  • Any resources or manuals that might help me troubleshoot electrical issues
  • Tips from anyone who’s done a similar restoration or repair

Background:

I’ve already taken apart some of the wiring harness and I have labeled a few things, but I’m not confident in what goes where. The last thing I want to do is fry any components or end up with a messy setup.

I’ve been using some generic wiring diagrams, but they seem a bit too simplified and are missing detail specific to the ‘64 model. If anyone has a scanned copy of a service manual or even a link to a good resource, that would be amazing!
