I’m currently looking to replace the headlight bulbs on my 2007 Chevrolet Tahoe, and I’m not sure what size I need. I want to make sure I get the right fit so I don’t waste time or money on the wrong bulbs.
Here’s what I’ve gathered so far:
Stock Bulb Size: I’ve heard that the stock headlight bulb size for the 2007 Tahoe is 9006 for the low beams and 9005 for the high beams, but I want to confirm this.
Upgrades: Are there any recommended upgrades? I’ve seen LED and HID options, but I’m unsure how they fit or any modifications I might need to make.
Questions:
Can anyone confirm the bulb sizes?
What have been your experiences with aftermarket bulbs? Are there brands you recommend or advise against?
Installation tips? I’m handy but could use some guidance.
Conclusion:
I appreciate any help you can provide! I’m looking to get this done as soon as possible, so the more information, the better. Thanks!
To find this info, definitely check the owner’s manual. There’s usually a section with the bulb sizes. If you don’t have one, you can usually find PDFs online.
I agree with kellywilliams! It took me a while to figure out that I needed the wrench to get to the screws. Also, be careful with the plastic clips—they break easily.
